During the summer, moviegoers can take in the most refreshing aspects of the cinematic experience without having to worry too much about the technical elements. That’s what your organization can take care of by making the image displayed on your large movie screens as visible and as crisp as you like. It can also be a way of offering an alternative to other forms of media that may be less desirable for some reason.
Netflix has been accused recently of secretly “cropping” certain films in its library so that the image seen on their streamed version is altered dramatically from the intended original cut. The latest media target to be accused of this, the revelations stem mainly from a Tumblr that has emerged entitled “What Netflix Does,” VentureBeat reports.
The source also spoke to a communications director from the company in which it denied that it does any resizing or cropping.
“We want to offer the best picture and provide the original aspect ratio of any title on Netflix,” according to VentureBeat. “However, unfortunately our quality controls sometimes fail and we end up offering the wrong version of a title.”
Using an inflatable movie screen in a comfortable venue can be a way to relieve attendees (and exhibitors) of this headache. You can pick the version of the film you have access to, and deliver the experience to the audience that they want.
Stay in control with screen rental from a company with years of experience and that gives you all the tools you need to have a unique event.
